My son was born on ft. campbell and his mama was legally seperated but still married to a soldier. my name is on the birth certificate but we could never agree on a parenting plan. after a year and a half of me and her sharing taking care of my son (half day care, half the week with me and then her) she took him without any notice. she turned her phones off and instructed her mother not to tell me where they were. i turned my info in to the case manager for child support and she didnt go through with that either. they dropped the case for child support. i found her in georgia 6 months later. i had to do an alias summons and now jurisdiction is back in tennessee. i was taking care of my son substantially equally and she just took him. what can i look forward to, i want to raise my son. what does tennessee do for a situation like this? the only bad thing i have is a drug possesion charge two years ago but i have almost completed probation and have graduated from college and held down the same job for 5 years. i have bettered my life ever since my son has came into my life. she has 4 kids by 4 different men, she is back with her husband which she has had 2 different children outside of him, and she is pregnant again. please help me.

Basically, when my step dad drinks, things happen. I have come home and he was naked in my bed. He has told me to take all my clothes off and get in the hot tub with him. I was asleep one night and he repeatedly came in my room and took my blankets off, until i woke up. These things have affected my life. It has been about 1.5 years since then, but i still want to know if anything can be done legally. My mom still refuses to believe me about any of it. But i still have 2 brothers living there. I came home 1 day and they were being forced to sit in the room w/ him naked.

But the Tennessee county sheriff may or may not respect a CA court order. However, if you file suit in the TN county where your ex-husband is now located, then the local police will definitely enforce the court's order.

The custody of the children is normally a part of the divorce decree. Most Chancery Courts do require a set of 4 or 5 parenting classes. To learn your county's requirement, you should call the "Clerk and Master" of Chancery Court, speak to a deputy clerk, and ask if parenting classes are required in an agreed divorce where there is agreement on visitation.

I caught my husband with a myspace account with several women on there, he is 40 and all of them are under the age of 25. He says he is single looking for relationships and also lied about his income. I thought I would email these girls somehow letting them know whats up. My husband and i are separated now, but I thought we were working things out till now. I should have known better, this is why we split up to begin with. Also, these girls might need to know he has genital herpes. Is that illegal to tell them that, since I am not lying about the herpes? Could he sue me for harrassment or slander by letting these girls know he is a liar and has STD's possibly AIDS? Also, my husband is bisexual and even though I accepted that he is, I feel they need to know he slept with a man for years that is now dying of AIDS. I wish someone had warned me. I know he has not been diagnosed, but I talked to his lover and made sure it was all true. I cannot get my husband to test for AIDS. I have, and so far I am negative. After this little finding though, I am through with him. Know of a pro bono lawyer close to me? I really want to get a divorce asap

It is left to the discretion of the judge. This may be the only debt that does not have a period defining when the action is extinguished by the passage of time.

Judgment for child support payments for each child subject to the order for child support pursuant to this part shall be enforceable without limitation as to time. The law is not retroactive. (TCA Section 36-2-321)

If you call the Clerk and Master's office of Chancery Court in your local county, the clerk should be able to tell you the requirements to give "due process notice" to a party who has moved out of state through newspaper publication.
