Ascension of Jesus ChristThe Transfiguration of Jesus Christ Beatitudes Sermon on the Mount of Jesus Christ Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of God
I see the inconsistancy, Mike ... I always feel a little foolish even saying "I'll pray for you", so I just usually say, "I'll be holding you in my heart" or something like that. I think that the problem (and possibly the resolution) comes down to how we define "Prayer".

In response to Martin's request, I was holding in myself the trauma and fear that Martin described with his friend, and, in my own way, blessing it. Acknowledging it. That, in itself, may give Martin a sense of peace about the situation.

This doesn't feel like praying FOR something as much as it feels like prayer itself, to me.
